Journal of Academia, Healthcare, and Nursing Innovation

Mission

The Journal of Academia, Healthcare, and Nursing Innovation is dedicated to advancing knowledge, leadership, and innovative practices within nursing, healthcare, and academic settings. We invite manuscripts that explore a broad spectrum of topics, including both national and international workforce challenges, quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practices, and the influence of change on healthcare systems and communication.

We also encourage submissions that focus on interprofessional collaboration, educational innovation, active teaching strategies, curriculum development, assessment methodologies, simulation, technology integration, and research in teaching and learning.

Our goal is to foster meaningful dialogue and inspire forward-thinking innovations that strengthen both practice and education across healthcare fields.

We Welcome the Following Types of Submissions:

  • Original Research: Studies that generate new knowledge or address significant gaps in nursing practice, administration, or education.
  • Quality Improvement Projects: Initiatives focused on measuring and improving patient outcomes, particularly those with actionable findings.
  • Interprofessional and Collaborative Practice: Research or projects that demonstrate successful interprofessional or multidisciplinary practices, such as team-based care and nurse-led clinical models.
  • Technological Advancements: Articles that explore cutting-edge technology and its impact on the education and practice environments, enhancing both learning and patient care.
  • Literature Reviews: Comprehensive, systematic, or meta-analytic reviews that analyze and synthesize research related to workforce issues, patient and staff outcomes, and other relevant topics in nursing practice, administration, and education.
  • Change Initiatives: Research or capstone projects that apply change theory to design or implement initiatives, policies, or practices that positively impact healthcare and society.

Types of Articles Published:

  • Full-Length Empirical Articles: Detailed reports of findings from quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research studies.
  • Brief Empirical Articles: Concise summaries of findings from smaller-scale studies (e.g., pilot studies or preliminary research).
  • Comprehensive Literature Reviews: In-depth reviews and analyses of the existing body of research on specific topics.
  • Book Reviews: Critiques of books relevant to nursing, healthcare, and education disciplines.
  • Letters to the Editor: Brief discussions that address or respond to issues raised by previous publications or comment on current topics in the field.
