Abstract

Specific leadership traits are imperative to promoting an interactive and dynamic interaction from a global context. However, the exact understanding of what linguistic anthropological factors are related to the characteristics of global leaders is not clear from the current literature. Analyzing Laureate Professional Assessment data from 15 countries, there was a significant association between global mindset and leading others (N = 1633, r = .29, p < .001). Furthermore, we found that language spoken significantly modified the effect of global mindset on leading others. More specifically, research is needed to understand how specific cultural aspects of language influence leading others from a global mindset. (44 minutes)
