Abstract
Research suggests that most mental health professionals feel their training on lesbian and gay issues has been inadequate at best and nonexistent at worst. Add to this the issues of bisexuality and transgender, not to mention intersex issues, and these feelings of adequacy to deal with the issues of sexual minorities diminish even further.
