Abstract
The article discusses risk and social factors associated with smoking among college students and development of various policies for its eradication. It states the intervention of local tobacco control and smoking prevention programs in colleges to prevent smoking in college campus. It informs about the College Tobacco Survey which discussed various strategies for reducing the use of cigarette and also spreading awareness among the college students.
