Abstract
This document presents an executive summary of a staff education initiative designed for home infusion nurses, submitted in fulfillment of requirements for the Doctor of Nursing Practice at Walden University. The project aims to address the specialized educational needs of nurses in the home infusion setting, where evolving clinical procedures and patient safety standards demand advanced competency and knowledge. Through the development and implementation of targeted educational strategies, the project seeks to enhance nurses' skills, promote best practices in infusion therapy, and improve health outcomes for patients receiving infusion care at home. Key objectives include identifying gaps in current education, designing curriculum interventions, and evaluating the impact of staff training on professional development and quality patient care. The findings and recommendations outlined in this summary contribute to the ongoing advancement of nursing education and the cultivation of excellence in home-based infusion services.
