Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy: Theory, Skills, Assessment, and Application gives readers a strong foundation in marriage and family therapy history, theory, and clinical assessment, and supports the development of skills and competencies needed to be effective, ethical counseling practitioners.

The book is organized into four sections. The first covers the history and conceptual frameworks of marriage and family counseling.
