Abstract

Millions of US children are exposed to lead each year, and lead poisoning can result in serious health consequences.1,2 Studies have identified health impacts at lower and lower levels of blood lead, and accordingly, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) lead poisoning guidelines for public health action have changed over time.
