Abstract

Twenty-first century technological tools are available to enhance learning whether it is a concept-based curriculum or active learning technique that is being implemented. Because faculty incorporate concept-based learning strategies, they are becoming cognizant of the need to integrate an active learning experience throughout the program. Whether in the classroom or the clinical setting, faculty are challenged to successfully bring concepts and exemplars alive for today's learners; technology can play a huge part in successfully bringing that to fruition.
